When you stop prioritising your mind and body it means that you are less productive and running on empty , when you have a fast paced life it's more than a choice it's a necessity to invest in your wellbeing.
What's the price of not taking your wellbeing seriously? Often clients tell me that once they start to implement their own individually designed wellbeing programme they see a change in their level of happiness and feel more fulfilled and can identify the signs that may have led to burn out.
One of my clients was a creative founder of a record company. She had a fast paced life and barely got time to catch her breath, often skipping meals, and having late nights working late into the night.
She came to me when she felt drained of energy and it was affecting her relationship. She had felt too tired to connect with her husband and stayed awake at night planning the next day.
My client found it hard to switch off and was constantly on auto pilot working long hours without taking care of herself. We soon identified through my wellbeing assessment that she was in survival mode and the more she worked the less she had the time , or energy to invest in herself.
This became a cycle and she became part of her identity, not knowing how to break free from this cycle we worked together and identified a holistic plan that combined different approaches , with yoga ,coaching and therapy to help understand where this pattern stemmed from and how to reactivate her sense of self care and control within her life.
Trying to fit in regular trips to the gym and spa and multiple different classes didn't align with her lifestyle , as she always was out of the country on business and she found it hard to be motivated after many hours in the office.The classes were never at the time that she needed and she gave herself a hard time due to the lack of consistency.
My client seeked a service that was bespoke to her needs so that she didn't have to overwhelm her PA with trying to organise multiple classes and which she knew she would fail to attend due to her schedule.
